From it’s humble beginnings in 1998, Settlers began as a lifestyle village, providing a safe, secure and social community for the over 55’s. Since then, we have grown into a community of over 250 people who enjoy both independent and supported living. The Village continues to grow, with a range of living opportunities to ensure all budgets and requirements are catered for. Anyone can join our fantastic community.
In 2008 Settlers group expanded into the serviced apartment sector, offering the same fantastic lifestyle but with a higher level of support so that residents can continue to enjoy all the best parts of life without worrying about daily chores and having regular access to care in their home, if required.
It was from here that a need for care arose. At Settlers we can help residents through the government health care packages application process which can assist them in securing a higher level of health care, enabling residents to stay with us for as long as possible. In addition, our dedicated team of professionals are on hand 24/7 in the serviced apartments, providing care and support.
